So Much To Do, So Little Time

This afternoon was business as usual at work. I have finished all the reports for the day, responded to emails, approved and acknowledged paperwork, chatted with co-workers, pretty much like a normal day at work. At 3:56 PM, the AVP Operations requested for the print out of the report that I sent out that morning, in colored graphs, 20 copies each, to be used for their staff meeting at 4:00 PM! I was like, what? I proceeded to print but my mind is running, everyone in that meeting received the email, so isn't this going to be redundant? At 4:03 PM, I am still not done with printing, and here he comes to my office. He said he will take whatever I have ready and to just send over the rest to the conference room. I managed to get everything out together by 4:20-ish and by then I am so ready t call it a day. I hate it when people suddenly spring something to you at the last minute, especially something as critical as that.

Oh I hate that too, it would get me so flustered that I would not be able to concentrate at all.

I don't mind if it's something totally unexpected. I just hope it will not be a regular thing.

Hope they don't always spring such things on you that need such quick response

I have been there for a couple of months only, and I am still on probation. Basically, I cannot literally complain yet, not that I would even if my probation is up.

@Raine38 Still you rose to the challenge and gave them what they wanted!
