Our problems truly make us stronger?

Hello my friends, I am posting after quite some time. I have been so taken up these days with all that I do and it was a moment to close to myself a little, and to spend time with family. I have been thinking about what are the effects of life's problems that we go through, on our soul. Do they truly make us stronger? If yes, can you share a personal experience and how you grow through a problem.

@excellence7 there are two kinds of wisdom. Wisdom that can make you and wisdom that can break you.

I dont know if the problems we face make us stronger or not. In my opinion, it depends on how you want them to serve you. In my case, I have learned from the problems... and tried not to get into those circumstances again. For instance, long back a friend duped me - and that was because I trust people. Initially, I felt bad, and even started never to trust anyone. But then, that was not me. So now, I trust people as I did earlier, only I do not trust them with certain things - like in this case, money.

You are so right when you said "it depends on how you want them to serve you". This is a strong line. It depends largely on what lessons we want to draw from the problems and what course of actions we follow to face the problems and grow as a stronger individual from them.

@excellence7 It is nice to see you back here mate. Honestly, I was expecting that you and I may meet. As a matter of fact, three of my cousins got married during the first week of Dec at Allahabad and Benaras. Unfortunately, I could not make it because of my health issues (as it is winters there) and also, we were expecting the baby. How was your trip of India?

Actually problems makes us stronger to face more. The experience we had from one makes us immune from the effects of another if we have learned something from it.

Do we really gain such an immunity? Can we not be affected at all by a problem? Can we be that strong? I wonder. May be yes. I hope I managed to reach this stage someday too.

@excellence7 Yes we do gain it if we try to learn something from every problem we face and try to be ready for another.

They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I believe that. I have (and still) struggled, but I don't let all the hard time to put me down. I take problem like taaking exam, I know I can pass it and will give good effect in my life in the future.

I have had almost end of world scenarios playing before me few times but then we find the inner resolve to overcome them. We may not get what we want but the alternative was not that bad either. Then again, I have found some who I never knew going out of the way to help me and I know who they are in disguise! Yes, they give renewed meaning to our lives - siva
