Random Word Post – knotgrass

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “A widely distributed weed related to buckwheat, with jointed stems.” I wonder how closely related it is to buckwheat. I mean, we can make buckwheat flour, can we make knotgrass flour? I’m guessing not, because why would you call something you can eat a weed?
