~I Cannot Focus!~

I had my own laptop when I lived in NC but I was having issues with it and eventually it crapped out on me. So, once we get our own place again here that is something I will be getting again. For now, I am borrowing Sabrina's laptop to be here each day. My phone makes it too difficult to be here for long periods of time. Just at night it's okay but not all day long, off and on. So, while Sabrina or her husband are home I feel kind of awkward using their laptop-not that they ever use it but still. Today her husband has been home most of the day and so I haven't felt completely comfortable being on it. Unfortunately, I have only gotten the bare minimum done today here because of it... I am grateful they let me use it at all. I wish I didn't have to but until I get my own, it is what it is...

I hope you get a laptop soon for yourself Lovings. I also would feel out of place, though it is very kind of them to let you use it. I hope you get a good one too for a reasonable price. I do not have a phone like that, so I wouldnt know.

@TiarasOceanView Yeah it does make me a little uncomfortable using theirs. I'm so ready to have my own again! It is nice of them and I'm super grateful, I just don't want them to think I'm taking advantage or something.

I struggle with focus. I know it is not easy for many. I wonder how many can be focused on many things and get them done. It is really hard to multi tasking.

I understand your feelings. Maybe you can ask them if they want to sell their laptop, and if the price is affordable you can buy it. What do you think about?

@Rick1950 I did ask but they don't want to sell it and I don't have the money to buy it right now anyway.

Can you do something to make some sort of gesture of thanks, other than just saying thank you? Maybe bake a cake for them once a week or something. Just a thought.

@Judyev I make dinner for them often since they both work and don't have time to do it. I try in little ways to show appreciation. I also watch their kids while they work too. =)

@LovingMyBabies It sounds like you're well and truly repaying for the loan of the laptop.

You have to do what you have to do to get the thing done on mylot. I hope you will be able to buy a new laptop soon so you no longer have to borrow one.

@Marcyaz Yeah, I hope I will be able to get one soon too. First priority is our own place though.
