The Origin of the Species

The complete title of Charles Darwin's book is "The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life." Quite a mouthful!! It was first published in 1859, long before the discovery of DNA, which, in my humble opinion, completely debunks Darwin's "theory" about evolution. Darwin based his "theory" on a few animals that he researched, that had "evolved" in some ways that allowed them to adapt to different environments, but he never proved that one species had evolved into another species. No one doubts that living things "adapt" to different environments in order to survive whatever elements they have to endure. They either adapt or they die. A small example of what I'm referring to, for instance, is how humans adapt to different weather conditions. My sis-in-law moved to Florida from a more northern state and at first the heat was almost unbearable to her, but eventually her body adapted to the change and now she can't stand cold weather. Even in Florida, and I have been there at her house in December, she turns on the heat in the house if the temperature goes below 60. I, on the other hand, had a problem with that, because my body had not adapted in such a short visit. Animals and birds and reptiles also sometimes have to adapt to a new environment. Darwin called that "evolving", but one species did not EVER evolve into another species and there is no fossil proof that that has ever taken place, no matter what you might have been led to believe in Science classes. The pictures you see in books about evolution are FALSE, merely an artist's conception of what "prehistoric" humans might have looked like. It truly is sad that children are taught these false things in school now. They are led to believe that these pictures are real and they definitely are NOT. We should remember too, that Darwin himself discussed the possibility of error and the need for further investigation. That "further investigation" has now been done. More than 150 years of modern research has passed since Darwin presented his "theory". If you want to be better informed about the entire subject, do some research on DNA and you will find the truth about where we came from. What do you believe? The Bible explains how humans came to be on this earth and that's what I believe. Scientists don't even agree with each other so why should we believe what any other human has to say about how life came to be on this earth. They weren't here when it happened, but God was. What do you think?

" . . . and that's what I believe." --- This is the vital sentence in your discussion. *You* believe this, some members share your belief but other members don't.

Yes, I'm well aware of that. Not everyone believes what I believe and vice versa. I make sure that I say that what I write about evolution is what I believe. Thank you for pointing that out.

@IreneVincent I believe we came here through the Lord or I should say the natural way. As they say through the stars and back again and I also believe we get more than one chance even if we don't know it.
