Five Days at SSB

SSB is a short form Services Selection Board.This article tells about the experience that I have gathered at the ssb for trying to get admisssion into THE INDIAN ARMY ,the worlds third largest army and second largest voluntary service army.This experience made me gather an insight into me and made me realise the person that i am and what i need to do beter to face the outside world.I am going to elaborate what I saw there. The story: As I have mentioned before ssb is short form Services Selection Board.This Board deals with the recruitment of ordinary young Indian civilians into the Indian armed forces.As one passes through the ssb this serves him as a gateway to joining these forces and be a brave soldier to protect the country.Candidates who clear the five days at ssb are recommended to join The Officers Training Academy or shortly named as OTA.There are two ota namely ota Chennai and ota Gaya.Here the candidates are trained for 49 weeks and then they are commissioned into all the branches of the indian army except army medical corps.These brave officers then take the responsibility on their shoulders to protect the nation even at the peril of their lives.Rest is coming soon
