What colour is your cat? / myLot

I love cats, I love black cats. Cats in general are my favourite animal. For as long as I can remember black cats have been associated with bad luck, superstition and halloween. Thankfully I've always had my own thoughts on black cats and they have always been my preferred colour of domestic cat. There is something mysterious yet comforting about them. Unfortunately, not all cat lovers feel the same. Statistics show that the most unpopular cat is the black cat. The cat rescue shelters are full of them and they are left there waiting for a loving home. Having said that, black kitten's are usually scooped up in no time at all!

Black cats and calico cats are my favorite. Right now the fine floofy calico in my avatar is the cat I have, so she's black, orange, and white.

When I was a child we had a lot of cats, my favourite was jet black although she had a white diamond under her chin, she was called Lucy and she was a character. Later in life I had a white tortoiseshell called Jasmin. When we moved to Canada we adopted a golden ginger tom with golden eyes, who we names Mystic. We also had another white tortoiseshell named Shelly, who was both pretty and vane - looking at herself in the mirror at least twice a day.

I dont have any cats now but miss them. I had one tortoise shell, a realy beauty she was. I still have pictures of her. Her name was Lucy. We had her when my son was small.

I have a black, a blue (technically he's grey) and a silver tabby but my lbc (little black cat) loves me the most.

wow my fav is also cat and when i was child at that time we have some cats in home thought we not own it but it came by themselves but i really like all and take care well. i also dont think that black cat is bad luck because if you make mind that then even it bring happiness home they not still believe. so there is not any bad luck or good luck with cat its all depend on how we thought and how we see.

I like cats too whatever their colour. I like tuxedo cats and multi-coloured cats as that's what we had as kids.

Look at my avatar. The big black kitty man is Sonny James. Sonny is a sweet guy once he gets over his fear of a person. I also share life with a Siamese and a Lynx Point Siamese mix. The Lynx Point is striped and striped and well striped. Big blue eyes and bronze stripes and black stripes and soft and not well socialized so we call her the baby bobcat for a reason.
