Who is the better race?

I am fan of watching videos, news and reading comments online. I'm pretty sure most of you can still remember the incident that happened in the Miss Universe crowning moment. It was a mistake that I believe will forever be remembered in the Miss Universe Pageant history. I am not really an addict viewer of beauty pageants, I find the Traditional costume part and the question and answer interesting. But what caught my attention was a comment made by a person about the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant, it says '' I respect only the true winner. Miss Colombia. I'm tired of Asians looking down on Latinos'' I told this person that nobody is looking down at anybody as a matter of fact the Filipinos felt sorry about what Miss Colombia had been through. But his reply was that Chinese and Filipinos are looking down on them who are Mexicans. And so I replied, ''both Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines were victims of one person's mistake and should not be blamed for it. Making Miss Colombia win the pageant doesn't make one race better than the other. Now tell me did having Miss Colombia Paulina Vega Miss Universe 2014 made any difference on how Asians look on Latinos?'', he didn't reply. Which race is better? For me, we are all the same race ''human race''. Which of us is better depends on who we are as a living being. It doesn't really depend if you are a latino or asian or caucasian, what makes you better from others is not based on your race but who you are as a human being. People will not remember you for your race but for what you did for others. What you did to be remembered and known may it be in a bad or good way it is all up to you and not your race. Respect is gained by actions and not because of your race. So let us stop looking down on others because of their race; let's look at them as individuals just like you and me.

We are the same race and we are the same inside and we are all the human race.

I definitely agree on that, that should be enough reason for us to stop putting a criteria of whose race is better for we are all the same inside.

Frankly every race has some people who are very good looking, and others who are not. Comparison, if based on race, is again subject to looks of the persons at that point of time, who mind you may not be the most beautiful person from that race simply because the person who should have participated did not. But in general people do lie to themselves thinking that they are in some way better than the other person in looks. Blame it on mirror that refuses to let them acknowledge some facts. The beauty of a woman as far as I can declare can only be if she brings to the world a child others want to adopt should things go wrong. If not every woman should accept that there is nothing extraordinary about them irrespective of race.

Actually this competition was not only base on their beauty, I know and believe that some race can differ in beauty base on their physical features. This is a common mentality that we have in what makes one race better than the other. For me, it is not about who has the better skin color, height or if you are a man or a woman, as I mentioned we may look different, but that doesn't really matter and that doesn't decide if we are better than the other. It is all in who we are as an individual.

@erinmiles ..I agree no single race is superior..and I agree emphatically to that "we are highly intelligent but our judgment and reasoning can be influenced by the society or our up bringing".

@vandana7 human intelligence is one thing but then again as I mentioned this has nothing to do about specific race it is all up to one self. There is no greater race since if we look at it closely we are all the same race and that's what we call ''human race'' . In general we are highly intelligent but our judgment and reasoning can be influence by the society or our up bringing. We ourselves had created groups of people in which race should they belong but the truth is we are all the same. If we stop putting ourselves in category in which race we belong then we will avoid discrimination and the mentality that one is greater than the other and that is the message that I am trying to send to people who create that boundary.
