Love at first sight?

Love at first sight, is this even possible? I am a person who believe that there are five things in life that you can never ask from anybody Trust, respect, loyalty, friendship and love. It is something that you gain through time. I was skeptical when I heard about ''love at first sight'' though my aunt and my uncle were the living proof of that. My uncle met my aunt on day one and instantly fell in love with her. My uncle said as he saw my aunt he knew right there and then that she is the woman that he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And up until today they are still together and are a happy couple who had been through a lot but their love with each other always prevail. Until my turn came along, I met my significant other in a very unexpected moment. He was this person that wouldn't get my attention at all, especially as I was busy earning money to buy my own house during that time. But he was persistent, he never fails sending me text messages and if he gets a chance he always ask me out for a walk. However I always turn down all his invitations, I do admit though that I enjoy our conversations online and through text messages. During those times he didn't mention about his true intention all he said was that he wanted my friendship. Until one night, in one of our conversation he finally told me how he really felt for me. He told me about ''love at first sight'', that the moment he saw me he had pictured us being together holding hands as we watch a beautiful sunset. My reaction was like, ''this is funny''. You can't just love someone by looking at them, he said he never believe in such things as well and that he too think that that was impossible until he saw me. He never wanted to fall for someone in that way and never imagined that it could possibly happen to him. But here he is a victim of it and so am I. Is it possible? I really don't know, but what I do know is that love works in the most unexpected way and catch us by surprise. We give a list of our ideal partner and fate gives you a twist of a reality that you don't have control of. We even create a fantasy on how we will end up falling for someone but it turns out very differently. I don't have an explanation to that, I guess nobody does. But for sure on how, why, where or when we fall for someone is really something we have no control of, and that destiny and fate have someone waiting for us already. And believe me it is one of the most exciting journey that love and life can take you, the mystery behind it is what makes it magical. Should you believe in it or not, is all up to you, everyone has their story and this is mine. Peace and love everybody.
