How much GB would I use a month?

I have been looking at mobile data internet for this summer to use while petsitting. But I am unsure what I would need.
The internet I have at home is unlimited so I pay $50 a month for whatever I use.
So right now I don't know how to tell how much I use, and what is a good deal?.
There is 1 GB, 2GB, 3 GB, 6GB and 10GB. I don't want to be charged if I go over, but then I don't want to get a large bill and not use half of it.

Could you get to find out how much you use? I have unlimited here at home which my cellphone uses too. When I'm out I use my date on my Cellphone and that can be anything from 500MB to 2GB depending. I have a 2GB limit on my Cellphone date.

I am not sure how I would figure that out either. I petsit usually every weekend from May - October, then roughly 3 weeks in the summer. I do a week Mid February.

Wow, $50 for unlimited Internet is sweet! For pet sitting and you'll need Internet - how much hours per day and what do you plan on using the Internet for? Just myLot and browsing? Or you'll want to watch videos and Youtube?
For me, I had 3GB of data and I accidentally watched a Hulu show probably 20 minutes into realizing I was on my Internet and not wifi and it used up like 1GB! If I don't watch any videos but just surf the net (Facebook, myLot, instagram, emails, etc) 3GB was way enough.
Previously I had 15GB and I was not using more than 5GB so I downgraded to 10GB (shared and no one really used internet) and I never go over....
But again, I don't watch videos either since I'm always on wifi.

@ricki_911 I'm not sure about video usage and how much GB is good.. I try to avoid them.

I want it for MyLot, entering contests, and Swagbucks so yes it would be wathing videos on Swagbucks.
I know you can;t get the plan with the internet I have now (so I will never be cancelling it) LOL.
I usually petsit every weekend, and then roughly 3 weeks spread out in the summer. I am doing a week mid February then start petsitting regularly May, through October.

I think the data internet charge is expensive here. So I don't want to pay more for it since I already have wifi connection at home and in the office. So I pay for the minimum charge and I can use only 30MB. It is OK. I will turn it on whenever I use it outdoors and turn it off after using it. So it can make sure I will not use extra data.

Yes, it can be very pricey. I have my phone but can't load MyLot or Swagbucks on it.
