Spring is here, move over winter
Could Spring be early? Yes, it’s been a crazy winter with really strange weather.
Myself with living in Plymouth for the first time and seeing so much rain. It’s not gotten really cold and only had one frost. I’ve been to Plymouth many times over the years but never stayed long.
Other parts of the UK have seen flooding after flooding. There been snow of the last week in the north of the country but I don’t know how much.
In all it’s been a very mild winter so far and looks like spring may be early will daffodil’s coming up.

With as much rain as we have had in Oregon, it won't surprise me if the dffodils come up early here too. We have had a mild winter, with some cold, days, but very frew. We have been in the 40's for the most part, and that is really a great winter, so far. I am just hoping that February isn't cold and snowy, as it can be after a month of mild weather. I would rather it be sunny, and stay like it is, on the mild side.

@kevin1877uk It is supposed to stay mild here, with lots of rain that we don't need at all. I am afraid that when summer comes, it will be bone dry again, like last summer. My grass turned brown, and it never did green up until the fall when it started raining again. I don't know why we are getting so much rain, but I am frankly getting really tired of it.

@rosekiss Yes same here it's too depressing having to see the clouds and rain all the time. I guess if it stopped rainning then the weather would change for the worse

I agree it would be mild to stay mind, although I've had enough of the rain. Like you I hope come the coming weeks it doesn't all of a sudden change and get very cold.

It was really mild here until a week or so ago, the temperature a little lower but way above the norm.

It has been the mildest winters I've known that is for sure. I believe December was the warmest December on record in the UK along with the wettest too.

Wow, we are backwards. We had 70 degree weather the week before Christmas. It is now 7 degrees F. We JUST hit winter!

@kevin1877uk it was awesome! That is until allergies said otherwise. At this point, I know this will be a very short winter, and I am so glad. My heating bills have been so low!

I wish it was spring here but it is cold and still snowing. I don't think we will see spring for awhile.

we don't have to much winter here in Tucson but I still very happy when spring comes. Our temperature today is around 72%. very nice

Just nice 72F, my ex-partner lived in Tucson for a good few years and said you didn't have much of a winter there.
