My teachers were very kind, the lay teachers, but the sisters, the nuns were not friends, very strict and mad all the time.

Why do you really need to? I would move on and remember what they taught you. I was lucky to have some very good ones. Mr. Merrick, Mrs. Donnelly, Mr. Schmaljohn, Mrs. Chase and Dr. Hanauer.

That's okay. Many students are being friend by their teachers specially those popular and those who are not timid. Because they are the one whom their teacher can trust and has confident to delegate some task to them.
But what important is no matter how close they are to others... they still has soft spot for every students they have and we are one of those. Just keep praying for them... that is the best way we can show our gratitude to them even if they don't know we are praying for them.

My son is friends with he's teachers outside of school but it's a different thing when they are inside the classroom, at least he knows how to balance.
