Tomatoes on sale..... / myLot

Yeah at my place tomatoes are on sale. They are so cheap nowadays that we get 3kg for 50p(pakistani fifty rupee) Although last month they were 70p per kg so people are storing them by making tomato puree. What about at your side?

This is not a tomato season, so they are more expensive than in summer. The price range from a dollar a pound for cherry tomatoes up to 4 dollars for some species.

they range anywhere over a dollar a pound.How much in yours in dollar and cent here?

There are so many uses for tomatoes. Over here, the tomatoes are selling all round the year, but not that cheap. i just buy enough for our uses, and never try to store.

It depends on what kind of tomato , some are almost $4 a pound, others less than $2, but I don't have a clue where they are from...

Since it's winter here tomatoes are quite expensive
