Making Progress

In my bid to finish as many UFO's as possible, another quilt is being worked on. The quilt front was pieced by the end of March 2015. Since that date it has been languishing in my sewing room, waiting it's turn. This summer, I located the perfect backing fabric, bring it one small step closer to completion. This weekend I cleared my living room floor, spread the backing, the batting and the pieced front to pin baste the layers of the quilt sandwich. Another day was spent puzzling on what to quilt. Now, I have begun the actual quilting. I wonder how many weeks it will take for me to complete the job?

I took a quilting class years ago and only made two quilts. They were so time consuming for me!!!! I love the colors you chose. I hope that once you get going, you will complete it quickly.

Generally I keep going once I get started. The interruptions are what bog me down.

It's beautiful. Now that you've gotten started, I'm sure you'll keep at it until it's done.

That is my plan. It will be a couple of weeks though before I can expect to be close to finishing.

You have a lot of patience to be able to do quilting.
