Just because your network has gone quiet doesn't mean the site is dying I had more than 50 messages left for me yesterday. The fact is personal networks so sometimes become inactive, it is simply a fact of life, it doesn't mean the site is dying.

Facebook is not useful as people think. It is simply a waste of time. We feel like peeping into others' life and people keep updating frequently about their activities which serve no purpose.

Some things people post are useless, but not all. I have found a lot of recipes and tips, as well as good videos to make me laugh. Plus I have formed good relationships there and I have sold a few of my books through my author page.

I find it very useful. It is a place I can share my author page, plus I have groups where I can find items I need, either for free or for a good price from people in my area. I also have made good friends there, one who calls me every week and is always there for me.

@WendySpickerman You are a writer, right? I have not only some of my favorite authors on Facebook, but a few writing friends and groups. Of course I haven't visited my groups since I started classes again a couple years ago, it would be interesting to see what is going on there now.

I would love to make new friends on FB, but I usually get people who friend me and don't care about cooking, photography, stay fit or fun things with the family.

So many people use it for gaming, but I don't have time for that which they know, but then get upset if they send me a request and I don't respond to the gamine request.

facebook is best platform for family and friends no doubt and the site is not dying because of their improvements every day. we are more connecting with people ever before

That is what the "block" button is for, or if you want to keep your friend (like it is a family member posting stuff) then they have a "hide" button which I used almost constantly at the end of the year.

i use facebook, and i like facebook, but facebook is not sharing revenue such as Tsu, myALLFRIENDS, my page5 etc...

I think Faceebook is good to reconnect with people and an easy way to stay in touch with them without seeing them but I do not use it as much as I use to

It's not dying. It's not moving.I don't use facebook a lot. I just check for updates among family and friends. Other than that i have no other use. I don't rarely post comments, pictures and whatsoever.

I use facebook too, and it helps me get in touch with my friends. I can say though that it is not healthy to make friends via social media, it's still best to go out in the world and get to know people. But, we can use facebook to get in touch with new people we meet to further establish your friendship with each other. I like myLot better though. Ha ha. Kudos~!
