Back home from the doctors

Well I was in and out of the doctors office by 130pm. He looked me over and looked at all my last testing i had done. My throat is really red and he listened to me and instantly said it was asthmatic bronchitis. So off to CVS i went to wait for my scripts to be filled. I waited there til 230pm for them to be filled so i did some shopping while there also. I am now on z-pack and prednisone and he took me off work for the week. Hoping these meds will work and i'll be good and healthy again by next week. Atleast i caught it before i totally lost my voice like it happened last time to me. If you don't see me on much this weekend you know why.

Sleep is the healer of these things. Hope you are feeling better real soon. I used to get bronchitis every three months almost to the day. This was due to stress in my life. Finally, at one point, I contracted pneumonia and had that for about a month. After that I never have had bronchitis again.

@celticeagle i get it throughout the winter usually because of my heart condition and I have really bad asthma also. I caught it a bit early this time before it turned into laryngitis like it usually does. I'm hoping the meds will work and it doesn't get worse

@celticeagle I don't have that luxury since i have to work to pay my bills. But glad the doctor took me off work so i can stay home and rest.

@Blondie2222 ...I've stayed inside most of the time and so I am not getting it like I used to. Hope you have been able to catch it early.

@tiarasoceanview thank u. I can only seem to sleep an hour at time as i'm up coughing. I just took some cough syrup with codeine so hoping that will help with the coughing.
