Princess For an Hour

Last year I was helping my niece out a couple of times a week. One morning, a year ago today, I arrived to an excited three year old. She always greeted me with hugs, but that morning was even better. She informed me that I was a princess and needed a tiara. We spent the next half an hour creating this awesome crown. Princess Morley wore it regally. There is no greater honour than being crowned a princess by a three year old.

Thank you, but today I feel more like Cinderella before she goes to the ball.

@Morleyhunt I know that feeling all too well. The only reason I'm on here this morning is because I would be in trouble if I started running the vacuum right now (certain lazy family members are STILL sleeping--sometimes I'm really not fond of the layout of our cabin-in-the-woods).

They are stickers and strips of stickers. It's kind of like a paint by number. Match the shape, stick it down.

I haven't forgotten. We had some giggles last winter. Glad that things are going much better now.

How lovely is that. Would you like to be a princess a bit more often?

That sounds like it was a fun visit! Your great niece has quiet a vivid imagination, which is so nice to see in a little one.

She is a princess in her own right. She also carries a magic wand from time to time.
