Your all getting front row seats when I am in labor. Good thing you will not be able to see me-that would be weird!
I am going to bring my daughter's tablet with me when I go into labor. (She doesn't know it yet though). 
I don't think she will mind for her momma if I borrow it. =)
I am definitely going to need something to keep my mind busy through the pain. Mylot will do the trick I'm pretty sure. 
So if my grammar isn't the best for some reason you should know why. 
At that point I really will not care much about perfection.
Does MyLot take your mind off things you don't want to think about?

@LovingMyBabies It could be, when I was almost in labor I felt great, was up early and everything, maybe my son was getting me ready for the big arrival.

Now I am laughing. It is so what I might have done had tablets been invented, or even phones. I would probably have talked on Watsapp had it been dreamed of. Though the reality is that somehow labour takes you in another direction.
I do hope and pray this is an easy labour and all is well. What fun to have a new baby on Mylot

What an honour! I want you to think of sitting on a wooden dock, beside your husband, with your feet dangling in the water. I do that when I need to focus and get thru something. Otherwise I know that I'll be here for you. And hopefully you will be able to update us as soon as the baby arrives and assure us that you are both doing fine.
Is everything all right, or will you be going in tonight? There is a full moon you know!

@Juliaacv I hope that thought gets me through! Yes I will definitely update everyone here once he is born. I am okay so far-no sign of labor yet. I know its coming soon (within the week) but right now I feel good.

Oh wow ok so now I see who Julian will be :) Honestly labor is so brutally painful that I do not think I could mylot at all during it. I just lay there silently with my eyes shut the whole time until it is over. I hope you have a nice easy quick labor. I hope that mylotting during your labor makes it easier as you are thinking it will.

Lately my mind has been racing about many things. And this site has been kind of saving me from going crazy! (Haha!) So it definitely helps to write, and interact with others. It does for me! Basically.

Thats nice of you and I hope everything goes fine. It will be a great experience to share...although quiet painful for you.. Personally I have never been in one never seen one. So this would be the first..... Good luck and take care!!!!!!

Doing creative things like writing or composing help take my mind off other things, for good or ill. If I get a great idea during a teachers' meeting I get very distracted, which is not good!

Yes, it does. There were some times when I was really down, and just want to get rid of the troublesome thoughts, I hid myself in mylot, and kept reading others' discussions. It made me feel better.
I brought some novels with me while going into the labor, but I didn't get to read them.

@LovingMyBabies When I was born my dad took mom to the hospital and they took her up (these were the days when fathers weren't allow in the delivery room) and by the time he finsihed the paperwork and came up I was already born.
