Be A "Could Be"

I found this, as usual, in one of my notebooks. This one, in particular was from my business motivational notebook. I was often asked to conclude the meeting with something motivational. I would talk about it and then give everyone a copy of what I told them.
Be A “Could Be”
I’d rather be a “Could Be” if I couldn’t be an “Are.”
For a “Could Be” is a “May Be” with a chance of reaching par.
I’d rather be a “Has Been” than a “Might Have Been” by far.
For a “Might Have Been” has never been.
But a “Has Been” was once an “Are.”
In other words, think positive, about what you might be able to achieve if you TRY. Make an effort to reach your goals and don’t give up your quest.
Someone once said that “I would rather regret what I have done, than what I haven’t done.”
That was one of my favorite scenes from “Titanic.” Where at the end, it showed all the things that she did with her life after she survived the tragedy. He inspired her to LIVE a full life and she followed his advice.

Very sensible advice. So many people give up too soon on their dreams.
