Miagraines

I have chronic migraine and they come out of nowhere. I started Botox injections for them last month but it hasn't helped as much as I had hope. I do seem to have fewer migraines but I am still having a few a week. Has anyone else had any experience with botox injections for migraines or with migraines in general

My mother has migrane too. It really sad to look at her while she suffer it. She have a tablet to take before it when she feels a sign of migrane and that helps her to avoid it. But if she couldnt take the medicine in time then it comes again. If your injections arent effective then you should see your doctor.

I've had migraines before and learned i needed new glasses because after i switched they went away. I still get headaches from time to time but nothing compared to migraines. I hope they can find something else that will work for you if the injections are not.

I have took a lot of different meds for them. I am hoping the Botox just needs more time. It does seem to help some, I have a lot of sinus headaches as well and perhaps they play into it. I am glad new glasses were able to help you. I have heard a lot of people say their eyes were the cause. I had an exam too and discovered I have delayed vision and also tunnel vision but neither is causing my migraines.

I am happy for you not to suffer migraines, therefore I am glad you can be of no help. :)

I'm fortunate in that I don't suffer migraines myself. I hope that the Botox will help you in the long term.
