I just read @Marlina's post about @Raelove's flower challenge and wanted to be a part of it since I love flowers so much. When my boyfriend passed away back in the 70's from a brain injury I had the florist make up a bouquet of carnations with one died blue carnation and a pink one to signify him and I. My mother used to have a collection of different colored iris in our back yard when we lived in our first house we lived in with my step dad. They were lovely. Every color you could think of. Peach ones, periwinkle blue, white and deep purple, and all purple ones. They are so delicate and lovely. We have a rose garden here and I often go and set among the roses. Orange ones and deep red ones, even some lavender ones. All the colors you can think of. They used to have some pretty miniatures but took out most of them when they put in a new gazebo. My favorite rose is the peace rose. For those of you that have experienced them the are pink and yellow. I have added a picture of one here.

Just start a post and put a photo of a flower you have grown. Just to cheer everyone up in winter!

Just start a discussion and use a photo of a flower - either one yu took or one you can get from Pixabay, etc. It's to add some color since we are in dull winter.

The picture of the rose is quite nice. I replied to @Marlina's discussion with a picture of a flower which attracts butterflies.

I love the color of this rose. Roses are not my favorite flowers, but there are some colors that I really love, this is one.

Me too! Always have. I found a bush of them growing in the back yard of a house I used to live in. I just loved the entire bush, colors and all.

My parents had a Peace rose in the garden of our childhood home. It had a nice scent as well as the lovely colour and form
