We Got Snow

Late yesterday afternoon and last night it snowed. I'm going to guess at six inches. Today has been flurries all day. I just took my younger son to school and the west side was really coming down heavy, yet when I crossed the bridge to the east side where I live, it was light flurries. It looked so pretty today I took a picture of it this morning. I have one more picture left on the camera before I take it in to develope all the pictures of Pip. Then I can share today's storm and pictures of Pip. How has your day been going. Thanks for reading.

Rain would not be good this time of year - produces ice. I'm sorry you have wind and colder temps. You know what they say - this too shall pass. I think I saw wind in our forecast.

@fishtiger58 It was windy when I went to church last night. Snow was really blowing across the road. It's much better today.

No snow here in Southern California, but it was a gorgeous day outside. I spent most of the day outside and hated to come in for dinner. I felt like a kid!

That is the sad thing about southern California - no snow. I remember my first Christmas in San Diego - it rained and I cried. It's not supposed to rain on Christmas. I do prefer snow in winter.

@just4him I prefer snow in winter too. And yesterday we had quite a rainfall! I would say that is unusual for January but it happened last January too! Last year was the first time in my life I ever saw rain in January.

I wish I can see the snow. We do not have snow here, and no winter here as well. It's always been sunny days, and some rains as well.

I lived on Guam for a year, and as much as I liked Guam, I really missed the snow in winter.

I love watching the snow fall it's so pretty, I just hate driving in it. The snow we had melted as it hit 45 degrees here today and was sunny all day. Going to be warm all week and no snow. I'll live with that rather than it being cold.

It is pretty and one of nature's wonders. It's one of the reasons why I love winter. I'm glad for you that the snow is melting.

We had the termite inspectors in the house this morning and when they finished we went out to lunch and then a went to an artist co-op and bought a few things for the house.

Termites are bad news. I remember when we were living on Guam, they have termite season. They get into your homes for several months and are very hard to get rid of. I hope you had more luck getting rid of any termite problem you had.

I still have one more picture to take before I can take it to get developed the old fashioned way. Someday I will have a digital camera so I can take pictures and instantly show them to everyone.

It has been cloudy with a couple of showers with heavier showers schedule to occur overnight with the temps going back into the low 50s for tomorrow but we should have sun.

almost all of the snow from last weekend has melted with rising temperatures and rain over night. it sure was pretty while it lasted. have a blessed day
