Catcalling...what would you do?

Yesterday I went to the city center to buy some things for shirt printing. I took a public transport--a van, they call it 'convi'--and I sat next to the driver. It usually takes me about 25 minutes to get to my stop. Here in Peru, in every convi, there's a driver and a conductor. The conductor stays inside the convi the whole time calling out passengers through the window. Anyway, the driver was going a bit fast while the conductor shouts at every car in front to move. I thought I shouldn't be really bothered cuz there are times that they had to race against time as they are renting the car. If they are late in getting stamps at every pit stop, they get less pay. That's what I know so far. What bothered me was what happened a few blocks before I got to my stop. The car slowed down as the traffic light went from yellow to red. I saw a lady then selling bottles of water. She went to the car in front of us and the driver next to me started telling the conductor "Hey, hey, what about that one?" I wasn't sure at first what he meant by that until the lady stepped back from the car in front and looked for some drivers who would want a bottle of water. The convi which I was on passed slowly by her and the driver started catcalling her. The lady ignored him and went off. The driver followed her slowly and catcalling her again asking her to give him her number but the lady just kept walking. I was there and I just felt I had to say something but I didn't. That lady was working hard and that driver was molesting her. I could have said something, right? I felt a bit of anger at that time. Now, I feel disappointed. I am thinking, 'what if it was my mom or my sister? Wouldn't I wish for someone to stand up for them?' Many of us would just ignore men molesting women in public which I guess led them to keep on doing it like it's no big deal. What would you do if you were in my position that time? Cuz I definitely am no longer going to keep my mouth shut from now on.

If the woman were upset I might have said something, but otherwise maybe not. Might have got thrown off the convi!

It's against the law though to be thrown off the convi esp after I paid xD

I would like to say something; but it hardly seems to do any good. I might think of sending a written report to their supervisor.
