She'll return to school

It looks like my daughter will be returning to school on Monday. I'm sure she is excited because we have been out for a week now, and it was her birthday today and she would love to see her school friends. I know she has missed the every day routine of getting up going to school having time away from her two brother's. It's hard at this age for all of them to understand that they each some times need there special time away from each other. I know I enjoy it when she is at school mommy gets some times with her boys to do boy things.
We will see Sunday afternoon if it's a normal school day of if there will be a 2 hour delay. I'm not sure if i'll send her her bus stop is still pretty much covered in snow and I don't know about the temp with all of this water refreezing over especially if she only has to go to school for an hour and then come home just not a fair school day for her.

I must have missed something, but why was she out of school? Was she ill or was it the weather?

we had a big snow blizzard last week on the 22nd and the kids have been out of school for a full week due to the amount we got and temps. We have been in a state of emergency since then.

@CookieMonster46 They did. School was closed before the blizzard hit on Friday kids got to stay home, then this whole week the kids where home from school. But they are planning to have school Monday but their isn't many spots open for the kids that ride buses to stand right now. I guess they are hoping that most of it will still melt enough tomorrow for the kids to be able to ride the bus safely .

maybe it will depend. Right now there isn't a spot for her to wait for the bus safely on Monday.

I don't think the snow will melt that quick. Right now there is no safe spot for a lot of the kids to wait for the buses so it might be a 2 hour delay with the temps being cold.
