Why do fish live underwater?

My son just asked me this... my best answer is because they have to! LOL Fish live in the water and their food is in the water. He told me maybe it was in part that they dont have eye lids and would dry out. I would't of thought about the eye lid aspect but he can be a curious soul at times over the most unusual things. Do your kids ever ask you about things that you just have accepted they do what they do or are the way they are because that's the way they are?

My grand daughter asked me about the sky. We went to the library. I was great for both of us.

Some kids are so curious in everything. My little niece had all this kind of moments. With an instant laugh will be the next thing I do if answered silly questions.

I have seen parents getting restless with inquisitive kids but that acts as a dampener to their progress. We could be stumped for answers but we should tell them if we do not know and I have done it many times! siva
