I all ways like doing my taxes it relaxing. I just got done doing my taxes on line. I first went to my bank on line to see about this free turbo tax for free well for me it was free. I am all so glad I know how to look for a copy of my checks I need some information from the check so The so I can get my tax refund faster and by knowing that information I save my self a lot of time. If I had do a shcdule c business form then It would of cost me money . Like I said in my last post I did make any money on line this year from writing or payto click sites. So this year doing the taxes were easy . This is all so a product review kind of turbo tax . For it to be free depend on your income I think. OK that it for now.I can say I am happy about my tax return

I use a site called freetaxusa that was recommended a few years ago by a member here. It's not completely free as you pay $12.95 to submit the federal. I didn't get anything back from State but had to pay $1.00 this year.

since my income low I all ways find the free site. most of the time I will go to the IRS site and see what they have listed this year I had a feeling what my bank was offering from turbo tax and it was totaly free for me. They do try to get people to update to some kind of fee but that not for me.

@eagletrek2 I do not mind spending the $12.95. I am used to the freetaxusa website and how they set things up. I don't think I'd want to try another alternative. I have had my taxes done via turbo tax in the past though.

For me, I probably do not have to submit tax online.
My employers will upload the salary to the IRAS, and the charities will upload the donations.
The pension fund board (CPF) will also upload the extra contribution I have made for tax reliefs.
As a result, there is nothing that the government does not know.

I love using Turbo tax and this year even filing state tax on there was free! Now it's wait wait wait until our bar changes color and our refunds on its way!

That what I like this year state was free and now I am waiting for my refund. At least that commercial of turbo tax is true when they say free.
