Just Another Day in Paradise

I am about to throw on my walking clothes to walk along the ocean with my Florida friend. I called to wish my nephew a happy birthday and posted my wishes on Facebook. The bed is made, the house is tidied, and a dinner out with a group of friends has been finalized. I will grab a book and read by the pool. There is nothing left to do, except visit you all on myLot. That's how I am spending today. How are you spending your day?

Happy Birthday to your nephew. We are just back from the hospital, my husband had a couple of meetings with his doctors. Everything is fine, but he still need some treatments for his headaches.

Thank you for his birthday wishes, Anna. I hope your husband's doctors can find treatments that will alleviate his pain. It has been going on for so long. It must be frustrating for you both.

Listening to snow blowers outside my window. Earlier I had a book with me while I waited for my son to get finished with class at the college. The college closed at 4:30 due to the snow, so he only had one class today. And now I'm here.

That sound like a wonderful day. Mine had more work in it as I had to go to the Farmers Market. I did not have any veggies or fruits after 2 weeks with my aunt.

I hope that your nephew enjoyed his birthday, I'm sure that your wishes made him happy. Your day sounds relaxing, I am working full days this week, so there isn't much relaxing for me. And there is no real paradise since the rain was coming down sideways a little while ago, not typical weather for this area for this time of the year, but good old Mother Nature has a mind of her own!

I'm going to make some changes to a chapter I took to my writers' group yesterday. It is great to have a group of writers proofread for me/us. I don't always follow their advice, but sometimes someone makes really good suggestions. They also find small grammatical mistakes that slip past me.
