Cadbury’s Crème eggs Well you can tell the Christmas is well and truly over and Easter is just around the corner when you see Cadbury’s Crème eggs in the store. I’ve been seeing them now for a good few years and somehow not bought one until this evening. Yes I give in and bought just the one and not 3. So now should I eat it or shouldn’t I wait…….I guess only time will tell. Maybe I shouldn’t? Do you like Cadbury’s crème eggs? Do you have them in your country? The photo is the one I bought this evening.

I used to always look forward to the Cadbury eggs around Easter... back then they only had the crème eggs. I don't care for them much anymore... not since I can get the Cadbury's caramel eggs instead. I must have bought 20 boxes of them last year since we go through them so fast...

I have seen Cadbury’s crème Eggs but personally never had any. Is it hollow or anything inside the chocolate egg?

@kevin1877uk Lindt is invading the supermarkets with Easter Bunnies and "Easter Bear". I know that a bear has nothing to do with Easter, but it is the symbol of Bern, the Capital of Switzerland.

I've heard there's some controversy since cadburys was bought by Mondelez. The US company has apparently changed the recipe and people don't like it. I've not had one for a few years but will buy one just so as I can see if I notice the difference.

@kevin1877uk no idea. according to some it was to save money as the chocolate used to be the same as dairy milk but they changed that.

Cadbury is preparing to fight back this Easter after suffering losses over its controversial change of recipe for the popular Creme Egg. The chocolate company owned by Mondelez, a subsidiary US company Kraft, is upping marketing spend on Creme Egg from £3

They've been on sale since Boxing Day. I'm always tempted by them, but I'm sure they're smaller now than when we were little.
