Sometimes my Mobile Operator sucks!

I use internet mainly on my phone. So I have internet packages activated on it for a month with a 2GB of data usually. It was always enough for me. But once I had to download a big file about 500MB and I checked the balace to see if I can afford it. Yeah, Ive got about 520MBs left on the balance and about 50 Rs. money left in the main balance. So I decided to proceed with the download. It was at the end of the download that I noticed the download status is not moving! It reached about 498MB and frozen there. I got afraid that, will I have to download it again?! Then I checked the balance and I could see that there is still a 10MB left there and what I saw next was heart breaking(lol) I have no main balance! They sucked my main balance before my allotted data is even over! Then I called them for complaining about this. And they said that their system is like that! Oh wait, what? I had to pay from my main balance when there is data left in my account because you set your system like that! Thats crap! They didnt refund the money! I am thinking seriously to port from this sucker.

It sounds like you've been cheated. You should complain to the top people or those in charge in the government. I think the person you called may not even know what she's talking about. I always get the feeling that when a customer rep says that the system is the way it is, it means that she doesn't know what she's talking about. Insist on talking to the supervisor.

@aju007 In my country, the government takes such complaints seriously. A number of mobile providers in my country had been fined for dropped calls. So if they do something like what your service provider is doing, they will be fined. That's why when my daughter complained to them about a wrongful deduction that they had made on her account, they quickly refunded her.

I dont know if governement will care about my 50?, Ive tried calling them again but what I heard from them was "All representatives are busy with 'serving' other customers". So I just left it there. Let them eat that.

That would upset me too. Fortunately, I have t-mobile and I have unlimited everything. I can douwnload all the apps I want and not use up my data. I also have 64gb on my phone, so that is enough to do things with. I actually will never use that much, but I bought the 64gb so that I wouldn't run out of room. I have uite a few apps on my phone, and still have a lot of room left.

@aju007 Yes it is my cellphone provder. I like the fact that I have unlimited everything as I use my phone a lot and use a lot of data, so, by having unlimited, I don't have to worry about going over my minutes or going over data.

that really is awful. And am sorry to hear this happened to you. I am with Boost Mobile, and have unlimited everything. Talk, Text, Data, everything. Only for $35 a month. So, it's a pretty cool service. I like it so far. I've not had it that long. Since October 14th of 2015, I think. I know that I got my phone for my birthday on the 14th of October, so, I think that's when I got the service. But, I hope that you can get this problem straightened out asap. Good Luck!!!

@aju007 yes, it is very helpful to have that feature on your phone. question is, is do you have prepaid service in India? That's the problem with different countries that I'm not sure about. Is the fact that if they have prepaid service for mobile phones. I know that Thailand does have prepaid service, so I figure India should too.

I don't really know much about this sort of thing at all but it all sounds very unfair! Seems like they scammed you or at least weren't 100% honest about what you thought you were getting from them once you signed up to them.

They are responsible for the fault of their system but they arent admitting it as a fault. Or they made it that way

There's no way i could be treated that way, a paying customer. I had the same experience with balance being stolen by the so-called system.
