A Brisk Walk

I just returned from a nice long walk, it was good to be able to walk outside again. It is cloudy here today, but temperature is about +4 c. It is a bit windy, so had to put my hood up, but other than that I was not cold. The sidewalks are bare and I can't believe how much the snow has melted. There are lots of patches of bare ground. Another day or so like this and all that will be left will be the piles of snow that the plows have piled up. Hope everyone is enjoying their day

4C sounds cold to me. In my part of NZ it rarely gets that cold in the middle of winter. Today our summer temp here is 29C

When I woke up about three and a half hours ago there was snow on the ground. It is all gone now.

I don't miss the snow at all, according to my children, Ontario has had an easy winter. We will be back in a couple of weeks so I figure because we ran away, it will probably snow when we get Home.

I am sure we are going to get some more snow here, and it is supposed to be colder next week. But at this point in the winter, it won't seem that bad

At least walking would have kept you a bit warm. We're expecting a heatwave over the next few days so I might be staying inside as much as possible.

When it is hot here in the summer, I don't go out either. So I love the spring and fall when the weather is comfortable for waling.

I walked by an East-facing window this morning and saw a huge wave of white coming across the field behind our house. There were snow flurries coming, and they were on and off all day. It was a cold day here, no day to take a walk, glad that you had a mild day to go out in.

I find that I always warm up from a brisk walk, especially if my head and hands are covered.

It is sunny here today and temps are in the 50s and I was out for a walk today enjoying the sun (now if only the wind wasn't so brisk making it feel cooler)
