No one was listening until you started whispering loudly

I was in a seminar yesterday. Everyone one was quiet and calm. Suddenly my colleague started whispering about someone to me and all heads turned to look at us. It was so embarrassing. I do not know what people might have heard but they definitely knew we were gossiping. I tried to vanish just like that. I guess it is normal when you speak normally in a low voice, whispers are louder rather.

Hehehe that sounds funny.It has happened many times with me and my friends.In my group usually I whisper loudly and then people stare at me and latter on me and my friends laugh a lot lol.

I said: Please speak normally to me. Infact I get irritated if anyone whispers to me.

I am soft spoken, and my friends usually make fun of it . But whispering is irritating to ears man ,
