Let God Handle It

This Wednesday morning as I sit here praying for the safety of all of my family, being it is icy everywhere, snow still coming down. The TV is talking about black ice everywhere ,wrecks everywhere …. And they are having to drive to work in this. And I am so upset with myself because I am not putting my faith where it should be. The faith I have prayed for, I have talked about, and I do know I have faith in my God, but my carnal self lets the devil keeps trying to slip fear in my heart in times like this. Maybe you feel you have been running to keep ahead of it all, and the multitude has been nipping at your heels all along the way...sharp little teeth biting at you, a multitude of worries, a multitude of decisions, a multitude of work that never seems to cease, a multitude of doubt. "I can't possibly get through this" is the only thought that plays over and over in your mind and my mind. But guess what? Turns out, there is no need to run in fear. Take a deep breat, let the layers of fear, worry, and doubt fall off. Do not be afraid, do not be dismayed or overburdened. Don't let the threat of defeat knock you down, or become that huge mountain that stands in your way. Don't be afraid because of this great multitude that has been threatening and following close, for the battle is not yours, but God's. The Lord is with you and with me, we not alone. Stand on the Faith God has given us. I love you… Bless each of you.

Well I hope you stay home where it is safe until the roads can be cleared. We have no snow yet but expecting some tonight into tomorrow. They said possibly 1-3 inches so that's not too bad. Have a great Wednesday
