I saw these articles (below) a few weeks ago and it reminds me of a recent movie that is out in theaters. In the articles they talk about a new trend in Thailand where creepy dolls are treated like children. They are given food on airplanes and restaurants. They think the dolls have angels in them. In one article it says the dolls cost thousands of dollars. The recent movie is called The Boy. I haven't seen it yet. But I did seen the trailer. It's where a family thinks a doll is their son. The movie sounds like a twist between The Gremins and Chucky. I hope in a few weeks to see the movie online. Here are the articles: http://www.smh.com.au/business/aviation/supernatural-dolls-can-buy-seats-on-thai-smile-airways-20160125-gmdu3j.html
Reminiscent of a horror movie, a growing trend in Thailand is freaking some people out. Adults there are carrying around dolls and treating them like children. Keleigh Nealon (@keleighnealon) has the story!

These dolls do sound creepy. I certainly won't be getting one, especially at a thousand or so pounds.

it is not a new trend to have ghost children. The new trend is in the outlook of the dolls. Instead of having dolls that are made from bones and ashes, they are now using materials that make the dolls look nicer.
