As a nature lover it is a must to include in my itinerary to visit either a beach or a mountain. Being with nature gives me that feeling of calmness and rejuvenates my body against from the bad vibes that I had in my urban life. This picturesque beach that I have in this entry is in Anawangin Island, Zambales, Philippines. During summer time, a lot of local and foreign tourists visit the place. A 30-minute boat ride from the mainland will take you to this little vacation island. It does not have the usual amenities other islands can offer. It does not have any electricity and few toilets are shared by everyone. In the evening only the stars and the moon serve as the light of the island. A bonfire is a must at night together with your friends barbecuing marshmallow will make your stay worthwhile and memorable.

@MALUSE I agree. The beaches are untouched. In fact, there is no private hotels in these areas. It needs to have your own tents installed in the beaches.

Good for you.Zambales is so far from Cagayan de Oro.I have to ride by plane.Zambales is so famous of its wonders and could compete its beauty worldwide. Many tourists worldwide want to explore many captivating sites in our country, but because of insurgence problem, they cannot make it, only in dreams.
