Random Word Post – pyxis

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “pyxis – Botanical. A dehiscent seed vessel with the upper portion separating as a lid.” This was one of the situation where you have to look up words in the definition to find out this one word actually means.
