Do you go with someone or alone? I used to skate with parties, snowmachine with a group and cross country ski all by my lonesome.

@Bluedoll Cross country ski by my lonesome, but there is a club in the nearby city. Skate by my lonesome but there are others there skating and it's friendly. Walk with a sociable group. And hubby and I are going skiing for a month. Never did the snowmachine stuff.

I agree with you @dalane. Seems like the cold has struck our family along with a nasty bug where everyone has the sniffles and a cough. I feel like I am going nuts in the house. Ready for mother nature to make up her mind on if it is going to be warm or not!

@thash1979 a long time ago I read that we get less infections if we go outside more in the cold. Cold air kills germs, being cooped up inside where it's warm is how we spread them and get sick more. I would have to research that again; it's too long since I read it.

@paigea I have heard this too! Probably why my mom always told me to open the windows up when it warms up to blow all the germs out of the house!
