They say snow is coming

This winter has been unusually warm and the lack of snow has been nice(very little shoveling).
This weekend we had some Arctic cold but we survived, and warmer weather is on it's way.
Along with the more seasonal temperatures will come snow. They are calling for 10cm tomorrow, starting in the wee hours of morning. This means that they may end up canceling school(or at least the buses and in that case I keep the kids home anyway).
Thankfully the snow blower works, aside from needing a tune up. It will be put to good use tomorrow.

It's too early to count snow out of the forecast. However, a few more weeks and it will be gone.

Well we thought we had a mild winter also but that changed last night. Woke up this Tuesday morning to snow and ice then 8-12 inches dropped within the last 24 hours. The snow finally stopped but it's now all slush and slippery.

The weather chanel this morning said that there is a lot of bad weath in the northeast part of the USA, and here in Oregon, we are in the 60's and the sun is shining. An absolutely goregous day. We only had a trace of snow all winter, and of that i am so thankful. I hope that you don't get the freezing rain, as that is very dangerous, and you slip and slide all over the place. Snow is bad enough, but when you put the freezing temperatures and rain with it, it makes it an icy mess. Just stay home and stay safe.

We haven't had much snow, either, just the very heavy one three weeks ago and then a light one last night of just a couple inches--the roads are already clear. Stay warm!
