Closed due to bad weather

Sorry we are closed due to bad weather. It seem that everyone and everything is closed here due to the bad weather. Today was supposed to be no school but they decided to make it a make up day for the last time they had to close the school due to bad weather.
Last night they posted that there would be a two hour delay and then this morning we decided to check the schools website and it said schools were closed.
That ruined some plans for my wife. She was going to go and get her nails done while our oldest was in school. I was going to keep the youngest til she got back.
She still wasn't going to let him being out of shcool ruin it for her she waited and walked there. She took him with her but she said when they got there the place was closed.
Everyone who was in the plaza that was asked said the same thing. Either they will open late or not open at all. She waited a while to see if they just opened late. Nope they didn't open late they didn't open at all.
Now she's calling her friends to see which on of them with a car wants to go lol. She is determined to get them done today. I told her to wait til tomorrow but she doesn't want to do that good luck to her.

yes when she wants something she can be like the kids very impatient. they opened at twleve she however went back today and she came back very happy. I was happy for her. She doesn't do much and she barely spends any money on herself so her getting a little papmpering and coming back happy made me happy. It was a small price to pay.

Are the roads really bad there? Here it is pretty rare for a business to close; I have pretty much never heard of it. Sometimes school buses don't run in the country and they might even say classes are cancelled but the school is never closed due to weather. In the city I don't think classes are ever cancelled.

we don't even have snow lots of frost slippery out but thats about it for now. we normally don't get snow here but when we do everything shuts down. It isn't normal weather for here. It might get cold but for the most part no snow except for the last few years I have noticed we are getting snow more frequently.The nail place probably thought it best to close due to the idea that it would not make money anyway because people are not going to want to drive or walk in the cold and snow.

my wife used to live in nh and she said that people were used to the snow so life went on as usual for the most part . Businesses might be open later but otherwise everything was open. She said she would sometimes walk in snow piled high to get there and they would be slow but open.

there were supposed to be closed for that then they made it a make up day then two hour delay now closed lol so they will now have to make up two days instead of one they will either make the school days last a little longer or just stay open longer into the summer. I think it would be better to just make their days longer
15-30minutes each day till they make up all the hours needed.
