NEED HELP (SOMEONE OWE ME MONEY)

To all out there, I recently helped an individual to close a business deal with an agreed fee of 3% on the amount of the business deal. My greatest mistake was trusting this individual so much that I did not sign any legal agreement understanding between him and myself prior to the closure of the deal which I helped to secure. The individual agreed fully to my fees requirements prior to the closure of the deal but sadly, he is turning back his words of trying to reduce the amount and worst of all not wanting to pay me. I seriously need help in drafting a simple "I owe you" agreement that I can force this individual to sign, at least to safeguard my interest. Anyone out there who can offer a free sample of simple "I owe you" agreement? Pls help!!
