The MRI

I won't get the results until sometime this next week, so if you don't want to finish reading this post, that's cool. I made the drive in 35 minutes which was a shock since there was a lot of highway construction going on. The downside to that was that I had to wait an hour before actually getting the MRI. The highlight to this was that the MRI machine was a new, open-ended model, so my claustrophobia didn't kick in. The actual test was only 20 minutes, so that wasn't too bad. I'm not sure how long it will be before the clinic transfers the info to my doctors office; hopefully Tuesday at the latest. So I'm sorry I wasn't able to tell you guys and gals more but I'll do an update when I know.

I did think about you yesterday Nanette, hoping that you were ok. Let's hope that the results are good when you get them.

Aww, thank you Sweet Pea. I hate driving long distances anymore and of course that makes my mind think...what if...; flat tire, car break down, traffic, etc. I'd be happy with any kind of good news @jaboUk .

Why did you have to wait an hour for your MRI? After having to drive for 35 minutes you would think they would be on time. I hope your results are good and do let us know the results.

My appt was for 11am, but since I always prepare (flat tire, traffic, etc), I always leave early. I left at 9:45 and got there at 10:20. There was 2 people ahead of me and at about 20 minutes for an MRI, it took longer I guess @Marcyaz . I will let ya know.

It sounds like you had the whole spine done @Blondie2222 for it to take that long.

Waiting for medical test results could be quite an anxious situation and I hope they will all be positive.

Neat they had the open one for you. I had to use the old closed one, so I had them be sure the area was a tad cool, tucked a sheet over me, and put a damp cloth over my eyes. I just laid still and pretended there was NOT something two inches from my eyes. Worked, but a bit nerve wracking

That was how my very first one was @Jessicalynnt . Geez, talk about feeling like being in a coffin. I'm sure that's why they came out with the open-ended one; people were freaking out.
