Conspiracy or Concocted?

Conspiracy some of us think its lurking around us sometimes hiding in plain sight. Some people believe that the Government spies on us. Do I believe this of course there is a limit however to what they are allowed to do legally. I have a friend who was discussing how the government can record you using your cameraless monitor and use it to record your movements in your home. Is it really a conspiracy or is it a concoction made up by paranoid people.I didn't dismiss the theory they made some good points. However they may have gotten a bite but I am not totally convinced. I know that the government has secrets we know nothing about. We have technology that is only accessible to them. Its just that movies today make things seem so much simpler than what really is. In movies yes that happens all the time your computer gets hacked via remote and next thing you know they have managed to turn on your camera and do just that. There is truth to that I just don't think that it works exactly the same way when you don't have a camera. Yes they ca monitor your online activities they can even use devices that let them see every mouse click keystroke extc. He said that its like a two way mirror they can see you but you can't see them. What i was thinking is there is no recording video device so how is it possible. So I want to know what are your thoughts? Are they able to watch you from your monitor even if you don't have a camera device. Do you think we give them way more credit than due for spying on us or are we underestimating them?
