I remember one day I went to the science museum with my son. I had the blood pressure test there by a machine. My blood pressure is 96/69. Some people said it is a little low. But my blood pressure is like that for a long time. It will never be over 100 and under 60. Do you think it is normal? Or is it low blood pressure?

@youless I had anemia many years ago as a teenager, but I am fine now. At the time, the doctor prescribed iron pills. That helped at the time.

Would you rather have it low or too high? I'd check with the doc.He can explain it all to you.

@youless ....Well, it doesn't remain the same all of the time. If you are concerned and keeps giving you a low reading like that I would call and talk to his nurse or make an appointment.

A normal blood pressure is 120/80 but no one can be perfect and keep their blood pressure right at that. Most doctors consider 90/60 a low blood pressure but unless you start to have medical problems because of it then you should be fine. My blood pressure runs high. It is genetic from my dad's side of my family. My runs from 128/86 -140/90. Everyone's I have check has either been a little over or under 120/80. My doctor keeps trying to put me on blood pressure pills but I am on 20 and my blood pressure has only been high two times I went to the doctor. Every other time it has been close to normal.
