I remember one day I went to the science museum with my son. I had the blood pressure test there by a machine. My blood pressure is 96/69. Some people said it is a little low. But my blood pressure is like that for a long time. It will never be over 100 and under 60. Do you think it is normal? Or is it low blood pressure?

People say it is likely to have anemia but I don't think so.

@youless I had anemia many years ago as a teenager, but I am fine now. At the time, the doctor prescribed iron pills. That helped at the time.

It depends on your age, you cannot say to someone if his/her blood pressure is okay if you do not know the age.

@youless Your maximum is a bit low 120/80 is considered normal and 90/60 low, you are in between.

Would you rather have it low or too high? I'd check with the doc.He can explain it all to you.

Last time when I had the body check, the doctor didn't say anything about my blood pressure. So I supposed it was fine.

@youless ....Well, it doesn't remain the same all of the time. If you are concerned and keeps giving you a low reading like that I would call and talk to his nurse or make an appointment.

The normal blood pressure is 120/ 80 mmHg. Blood pressure test is not accurate in reading the blood pressure. Medical practitioners prefer to use the traditional blood pressure apparatus.

Here even in the hospital, the traditional blood pressure apparatus is not often used.

If the machine is not normal you get easily abnormal. So consult a doctor or lab for accurate blood pressure. Lol

That is kind of low it seems but some people tend to run a lower blood pressure, the only way for you to know is to go and see your doctor and have the blood pressure done there.

@Marcyaz Perhaps the medicine makes your blood pressure drop so much?

Do you visit a doctor and ask about this? I think it a little bit low. But, if you are feeling well. That's no problem.

A normal blood pressure is 120/80 but no one can be perfect and keep their blood pressure right at that. Most doctors consider 90/60 a low blood pressure but unless you start to have medical problems because of it then you should be fine. My blood pressure runs high. It is genetic from my dad's side of my family. My runs from 128/86 -140/90. Everyone's I have check has either been a little over or under 120/80. My doctor keeps trying to put me on blood pressure pills but I am on 20 and my blood pressure has only been high two times I went to the doctor. Every other time it has been close to normal.
