Hello Lotters,
They just left this morning to attend my mom's uncle wake as he died a couple of days ago. He's my grandpa's brother and would make a surprise visit here, hard to believe time has gone by since his last visit.
It was supposed to be yesterday but because of the incident they were forced to cancel it. But I thought they were going to resume it on friday because she has a outing today, guess i was wrong.
I've never met my grandpa's side of the family, not sure why we never visit them. I'd probably never will.

It is sad that you do not know your grandpa's side of the family. I am sorry you and your mother lost your uncle.

I was closer to my mother's side of the family than my father's but made effort just to know them before it becomes too late. My condolences to your family for the loss
