Got called into work tonight

So, yeah, I got called into work tonight. My manager texted me again on Facebook asking me if I could come in at 5 and get off at 9 tonight. I told her that yes that I could do that, and will be there at 5. She thanked me and I told her that I appreciate her for asking me. I only got 3 days this week besides today. If she didn't call me in, than, I would have gotten 3 days this week. I'm glad that she called me in today. We weren't that busy today, but, got a little busy. But, nothing that bad. There was this one big order that came in through drive-thru, and I made the food, and my manager made the tater tots. LOL

Glad you were able to go in for an extra shift. It's great when the managers try to help you by giving you hours.

yes it is great that they try to help. I am blessed to have my Store Manager, and she's a great person, and as well as a Christian woman. I really like that part about her a lot. :)

@danny1971 You are lucky. The manager of our store seems to be all about the politics of it. He doesnt' seem to care for anyone anymore.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that's wrong that he thinks like that. Is he the district manager, store manager, or assistant manager? If he's the store manager, than, I would have a talk with the district manager and explain what's going on over there at your store. Explain also how his behaviour is and that it seems like he doesn't care about the store, employees, etc.

That's awesome she was able to contact you to come into work. 
I am not quite sure how I'd feel about being friends with my manager via Facebook though, he-he.

@danny1971 They seem to be very nice managers. If you have a good bond it's fine. I didn't have a bond with my manager, but he wanted to be my friend. Like he literally never said "hi" to me, lol.

@infatuatedbby I agree. My Store Manager always says "Hello" to me when I come into work. I always say "Hello" back also. I think it's awesome that we all have a good bond there at the store.

LOL I don't have a problem with being friends with her on Facebook. I've got two other managers on Facebook as well. One of them was the one that I worked with tonight, and than the one that contacted me, she's the store manager, and than the other one, He's the assistant manager also.

Well glad you got a bit more hours for work today that's a plus. I like that I work a full Monday thru Friday job so I don't have to worry about not working. Money is always a good thing to have

yes, it does mean a bigger and better paycheck. I was tickled about that. :)
