What do you do when websites aren't working?

One of the websites that I use daily is just not working at all. I'm not talking about MyLot I'm talking about a different website. It's frustrating because this is a website that I do make money on. What do you do when websites aren't working properly? Do you just stop using the website until it's fixed? For right now I'm not making any new posts on that website because I don't want to keep "working" on it when I know there's a possibility of it not being posted correctly.

@HarishSubramanian has a good idea. There are sites that ping other sites. I was using a gaming site that at certain times would maintain their computers and so needed to go offline to do so. They always came back but if I encounter a problem I know is on the internet side and not my computer I pull the plug really quick. Don't want irritation. If it is my computer that is a different story. Hit it with a big hammer.

Haha, I don't think I'll be using a hammer! I'm glad it's the website and not my computer though.

@Bellatricks On the whole computers are working better than years ago with speeds were slow and crashes were a common occurence. But I think there will always be faults.

I wait until it comes up and then do what I need to do.

It can be frustrating having to wait but in some cases that's all you can do.

I will frustrated and cannot do anything about it. In times like this, I would wait for the possible news from the websites. Perhaps the website is changing into a new platform.

Yes, bugs seem to happen when updates are being performed.

Not working at all is different from not working properly. With the latter you should report the error to a support person (if that is possible). If a site is not working at all chances are there is a fault on the web somewhere that is preventing you getting through, just be patient and try again later in the day. Remember even big sites like Facebook do crash occasionally.

Yes, this particular glitch that's going on right now on this website has been going on for at least 24 hours now. I'm sure the support people are aware of it. It's almost comical what's happening but it's definitely disrupting things.

@Bellatricks it is probably disrupting some of the support staff's lives right now. I imagine some of them have been up for more than 24 hours.

No sense to fight it or waste time. I would take a break and return later.

I prepare my would be posts on Microsoft word and I will just copy paste them when the site is finally working. Sometimes I will just have fun on my pc like watch Youtube videos or play games to kill the boredom as I wait for the site to work again.

Yes I stop using it friend. In todays online world one never knows if you are wasting time on a site as they close down so much and so often.

When one site is not working I go to another. That's why I keep 1-2 paying sites.
