Beautiful Sunset

On Tuesday evenings, I have dinner with some girlfriends. All winter, it is usually dark when I leave the house.
Recently, however, the sun has been setting as I head over to the beach town where we meet.
This was what the sunset looked like this evening.
It brightens my evening to see a sunset like this!

Wow, what a beautiful pic that is! That is just too gorgeous! I love sunset pics like that. I think it is such a beautiful view of what God can create for us to enjoy. He's such an awesome God, that, it's unbelievable at the things that He can do for us and show us! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely pic of the sunset at your hometown! God Bless!!!

@DeborahDiane not the fiery one which ya witnessed 'n was kind 'nough to share the pic with us. but purty serene 'n most calmin'. this was jest last week, one'f many shots i took that eve's mother nature was fervently paintin' whilst the sun descended into slumber :)

Have you noticed that it stays light until after 5:30 now? I love the longer days. Pretty soon we will be springing forward, and it will be light even later. Great shot by the way!

@DeborahDiane Within the next two weeks there are two days of rain predicted, but the percent is only about 40%, so there won't be much. Drat.

Lovely sunset. I find it difficult to capture a sunset or sunrise....that doesn't keep me from trying.

There is a restaurant in San Diego called The Green Flash. Occasionally, just as the sun disappears below the ocean, there will be a greenish flash of light. I love to watch the sun set over the ocean, too.
