Do You Need A Laugh? The Whole World Is Watching

Canada

The whole world is watching the United States as they prepare for a Presidential Election next year. It has been interesting and insane at the same time. Everyone has an opinion and that is allowed so I am going to share something I found on line that made me laugh, and laugh some more. Its a Canadian thing and I hope you watch this short funny video that tells you how Canadians feel about the elections. And how they want to help.
Canada prepares for the U.S. election debacle and it’s hysterically funny #USElections2016 Courtesy: http://www.americabutbetter.com/

@PainsOnSlate Unfortunately, that is ALL that is running this time! I always vote, too, but you are mistaken if you think any of our votes count for anything beside the fact that we are signing toilet paper for the delegates who actually do the voting that counts! No matter who the people try to elect, the delegates are the ones who vote somebody into office, not us... sad, but true fact of life here in the U.S.

I understand your frustration, but my friend it is up to you to vote. If you don't vote God only knows who will be elected. Your vote can count. I hope you will be there on voting day. You have a long time to rule out the crazies and look for the big picture. If all of us said we are not going to vote, an idiot will be elected. And there is a bunch of them running...

That is so funny. But very scary at the same time. I hope someone with a bit of sense gets in.

The Republicans have done a job on everyone. Even the democratic party, they made life miserable for Obama from the get go and did a good trashing on Hillary because she is the only one truly eligible to become President

@JudyEv I agree, it is not going to be easy. It seems 4 Republican Senators are about to be removed for bad behavior and that makes me happy. We will have to wait and see... Our government is not a happy place and I believe its because a black man is president. I happen to love him and voted two times for him and would do it again if I could. The bigots in the Senate should get their hands and mouth smacked.

@PainsOnSlate It doesn't augur well for the country. It seems everyone is thinking 'personalities' rather than 'country'. And whoever gets in will have an uphill battle.

I agree, Canadian's have had a lifetime being second to the US. I believe right now they have passed the US by a very large and sane margin.

Thanks for the laugh! When do you think that wall will be finished? Can you ask him to hurry up with it, please? (It does work both ways, you know! LOL!)

I wonder if wall will ever be required between India and the US...in any event, the movement is only one way...from India to the US and not the other way round...planning should be easy...considering naturally available sharks..lol

I saw this a couple of days ago - it's funny 'cos it's true. This electoral season has been a perverse sitcom from the start and yes, the rest of the world is wondering,"WTF?" In America's defense, though, there are plenty of locals who are also laughing at the craziness.

I certainly hope when its time to put your x on a ballot that Americans will choose wisely and not be as stupid as a few of the candidates are. I will be voting wisely.

The whole process of who will be up for election is right now nothing but funny as we have no choices among these candidates. One is as bad as the other and they all want to tell you what they will do but of course that is just their way of trying to become elected. The whole world is laughing at us and i can't blame them.

I know how you feel but if you look hard enough there are a few who would be good as president. I hope the new president isn't a joke but the right one to be in office. I live in Canada but I am an American too and will be voting.

I can't imagine when it comes to the vote, anyone voting for Trump. If you love your country, you can't vote for a fool.

One of my husband's friends shared that on Facebook and I thought it was very funny. Unfortunately, as I live in the U.S., the way things are looking right now is scary to me and not funny. I really hope we elect someone that will be good for the country and not someone that will make us the laughing stock of the world.

I am an American too and will be voting. I will admit I'm ashamed that some of the candidates are still in the running. I hope my fellow Americans don't embarrass the country by voting in an idiot.
