We lived in the country in New Mexico when I was a kid. Our nearest neighbor lived two miles away. He was a rancher and owned two beautiful hunting dogs named Bo and Beauty.
One day his dogs came running down the road. They ran under our porch and would not come out. Then the horse came galloping by and we managed to grab a rein and stop it.
We started looking for the rancher and found him limping down the road about a mile away. He said something spooked the dogs. Then, his horse threw him off.
The dogs stayed under the porch for two days before he could coax them out.
What do you think could have scared two dogs that were afraid of nothing and a horse? I don't know the answer, but always wondered. Do you have a theory?

I don't think there were any drones way back when I was a kid. This memory has bothered me since it happened. These were hunting dogs and they treed all kinds of animals. They did not get scared by anything until then. It must have been something extraordinary.

If you are near Dulce, then that's an alien hotspot, where there are supposedly horrible battles raging on even today. Apparently the big battle was in 1979.

@akalinus I spent last week reading about all the underground bases around the world. There is a ton of stuff out there.

@OneOfMany That's interesting. I will look that up. I know a spacecraft crashed there. Also in Las Cruces.
