Reality show suicides

Alexa McAllister died 2/13/16, making her the 3rd BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE contestant to commit suicide. A 2013 HOLLYWOOD REPORTER article listed 27 deaths of people who appeared on reality shows. I don't like reality shows that much and when I do watch it seems people are just trying too hard to keep the drama going. It's very phony, to me, and I can't imagine how it must feel to contestants when their weaknesses are exploited on national television. I know these men and women willingly signed up, but it's still sad to me.

It is very sad. It is like the fame that comes from being on national television , is something that these people end up not being able to handle that drives them over the edge.

Yes. I think if you "win" it's probably easier to live with all the crazy things you have done.

I don't know how they do it. I can't imagine living with a camera 24\7 following your every move.

Neither can I. The money probably is the big motivator.
