Flag City Honor Flight Announces Next Flight Date

They will fly war veterans and their guardians to Washington, D.C., Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
It will be the sixth flight for the Findlay, Ohio based organization.
Honor Flight takes veterans to see war memorials in their honor.
Stops include the World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War memorials. Veterans pay nothing for the trip as it is paid for by donations from the public and private sector.
Where a veteran lives does not matter and it is a one day event.
All veterans from any branch of service and any campaign are eligible.
The agency says World War II veterans receive top prioritity, Korean War
veterans are second priority, followed by Vietnam War veterans.
You need to appy early if you or a loved one wants to go.

It seems more and more are trying to come up with something to help the veterans privately since our government does not seem to be doing much for them.

@Marcyaz Yes the government has failed the poor veterans by a long shot..I am glad others are stepping up to help. A very worthy cause.

Anything we can do for our veterans is wonderful as they are not given enough honor for their service.

Sounds like quite an affair. Sounds sort of like the Rolling Thunder Run the motorcyclists do annually.

That's interesting. I've never heard of that program. I suppose you would need to get to Findlay Ohio in order to participate.
